The above is about what happened in 1950 when China confiscated the American assets in China following the entry of China into the Korean War. If America again fight China in an all out war whether in the Korean Peninsula again or in the South China Sea or anywhere else in the world, it is for certain that China will again confiscate all American assets in China. In 1950 there may not have been too much American assets or one hundred million "yuan" might not have been such a large amount to the Americans. But today there must be tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of American assets in China. It will surely be ruinous to the American economy if the American assets in China were lost. Furthermore, exports from China to America today is much more significant proportionately to America's total imports than in 1950. If imports from China were stopped tomorrow then a large part of America's store shelves will be empty. And remain empty for many years. And when imports from other countries begin to replace Chinese imports, the cost will surely be much higher. After all, it took China decades to implement the infrastructure and the power generation to support the exports of trillions of dollars of products. It will surely take trillions of dollars of investment and decades of construction for other large countries such as India and Indonesia to duplicate the infrastructure of China to support the equal amount of exports. It is also doubtful if hundreds of millions of rural farmers can be efficiently urbanized to act as cheap labor to work in the export factories in large rural countrie such as India and Indonesia. For smaller countries such as Vietnam and Philippines, there just are not the hundreds of millions of rural farmers that could serve as cheap labor in the Vietnamese and Filipino export factories like the hundreds of millions of Chinese migrant workers are employed to serve as cheap labor to operate the exports factories in China.

And not the least, America needs the infusion of hundreds of billions of dollars of investment from China every year to keep the loans to American consumers cheap and available. Once China stopped buying American treasuries and American CDs, then America will immediately run out of money and the interest rate will surge. Therefore, the simultaneous increase in cost of imports and the lack of money will cause a repeat of the stagflation of the 1960's and the 1970's. Except this time it will be many times worse. And if on top of that America must increase military spending to fight a very costly war with China, then it will add trillions of dollars of deficits to the American national debt. If people think the last debacle over increasing the national debt ceiling was dangerous (which led directly or indirectly to the downgrading of American sovereign debts) then they will not even be able to begin imagining the catastrophic scenarios that could happen as American politicians fight over how to deal with increasing the debt ceiling by the trillions of dollars every year.

And even if America ultimately won the war against China which is practically impossible as it will most probably end in a draw, it will surely be utterly ruinous to America economically. It will be like the UK after WW2. Other countries like Russia, Japan and Germany, not to mention India and Brazil and Mexico, will surely take the opportunity of America's decline to attack it in every way possible in terms of world influence or even in actual attacks on America's homeland. Japan could take Hawaii. Mexico can take California and other S. W. America states. Cuba might even take Florida and Russia take Alaska. With its military shrunken and economy unable to sustain any more military expenditures, America will simply be unable to protect its own sovereign territories. And the American south may also take the opportunity to split off and become independent some 150 years after the Civil War.

Therefore, it is simply not possible for America to go to war against China. Especially, America will not fight China over South Sea because there is nothing for America to gain and too much for it to lose even unto its total national disintegration. And then there is the possibility of the final nuclear holocaust to exterminate America totally. Will America run that risk just to help Vietnam and Philippines to rob China of a few oil wells? Nobody with any knowledge and understanding of the real conditions of the world today will even begin to think it is even possible for America to go to war aginst China let alone a high probability of it doing so. The Chinese so-called elites who keep screaming that China must not fight a war in South Sea because of the certainty of America entering the war to wipe China out is simply a bunch of idiots who certainly don't deserve the title of "elite."

This is not to say that America will not be pleased if China got scared and just gave up its sovereign territories in the South Sea and the control of a very important strategic area. Therefore, these Chinese idiotic "elites" are not helping China to strengthen its national power and prestige but are only acting as American and Japanese stooges to further the tactics and strategies of foreigners of scaring China into abandoning its rightful sovereign territories and therefore reduce its ability to challenge America and Japan in the world stage.
